Ethics

Respolitica adheres to international academic ethical standards in its publication processes and expects all stakeholders (authors, reviewers and editors) to act in accordance with these principles. The journal is committed to publishing in accordance with the principles of scientific integrity, transparency and impartiality.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, must not have been previously published elsewhere, and must not be under simultaneous review by another journal. All manuscripts are rigorously examined for ethical violations such as plagiarism, fabrication, falsification and salami slicing. Where necessary, similarity detection software is used, and manuscripts found to have committed ethical violations are excluded from the review process.

Authors are obliged to provide accurate and complete citations for all sources used in their work. They are also responsible for the accuracy of the data obtained during the research process and for ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines. For research involving human or animal subjects, approval from the relevant ethics committee must have been obtained.

Reviewers are obliged to adhere to the principles of impartiality, confidentiality and scientific objectivity during the review process. They must evaluate the works under review solely within the framework of scientific criteria and avoid any personal conflicts of interest. Editors, meanwhile, are responsible for conducting the entire review process in a fair, transparent and impartial manner.

Respolitica adopts a double-blind peer review process and ensures the confidentiality of authors’ and reviewers’ identities throughout the evaluation process. Should any ethical violations be identified, the relevant paper will be rejected; if already published, retraction and correction procedures will be initiated.

The journal adheres to international standards regarding publication ethics and takes the necessary steps in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines where required.
